Shark Queen

Despite the lack of success the last time I went fishing, I was still keen to go again and try my luck a second time.  So one bright early Sunday morning I departed from Keyhaven to see what I could catch.

 

Our first stop was for a bit of mackerel fishing – which were consumed later in the day courtesy of my fishing guru.

I was crowned Shark Queen for the day as I caught not one, but two tope:

These did not make an appearance on the dinner table.  Instead, they were unhooked and put back to swim some more in the Solent.
